Dublin Football Coach Brandon Black Moving To Granada HS | Livermore, CA Patch

DUBLIN, CA — Brandon Black, currently the head varsity football coach at Dublin High School, has been named the new head varsity football coach for the Granada Matadors starting in the fall.

Black coached at Dublin High School for the past five years, where he helped introduce a new offensive system that led to two school records being broken in his inaugural season, according to an LVJUSD news release. He brings over 20 years of experience coaching high school football. Black has also lived in Livermore for the past 10 years, and has children in Livermore schools.

“We are thrilled to have Coach Black lead our football program at Granada High School. His energy, coaching philosophy, and leadership qualities are great additions to the positive culture at Granada High School,” Granada Principal Clark Conover said in a statement.

“I have a strong desire to teach, coach, and make a difference in the community where my family lives. Granada has great kids, fantastic leadership, and incredible community support. I am grateful to be here,” Black said in a statement.
